Marry suddenly realized about what happened to her friends lately. They should have told her earlier so that everything could be handled. Now she feels regret. Sitting alone by the window she looked outside with empty feeling.
“Gosh, what should I do now.” She's thinking of going out just for a walk but it won't make her problem solved.
“Ring.. Ring..” suddenly her phone rang. Lazily she walks toward the bed reaching her phone. Urrghh it's Joe again, what does he want from me. Marry turned her cellphone off.
“I don't wanna talk with anyone.” she sighed.
“Marry! Joe is on the phone! Come on down and get it.” Bryan shouted. She couldn't avoid anymore since her brother's already called and she didn't want anyone at home know about her problem.
“Yea. What's up Joe?”
“What's wrong with you girl. You should have told me if something's bad happen to you.” Joe's voice was always sweet to Marry. He's been trying to win Marry's heart since they're in junior high school. But Marry seemed hard to be pleased. She's as stubborn as a mule. Once she made up her mind then no one could change it.
“I can't tell you now but i'm fine tho. Thanks for asking. I just wanna be alone for now. Hope you understand. Talk to you later, okay!” she hung up the phone before Joe could say anything.
Marry went back to her room and turned the TV on. She's trying to switch her mind by watching her fav series or falling asleep.
It's 6 o'clock in the morning. Marry didn't wanna get up. She felt sore all over and little bit cold. She told her mom for not going to school today. After everyone left the house, she tried getting her breakfast. Just PBJ as usual.
Facing her laptop, searching something to be read that could kill her boredom. Her blogs seemed got her attention. She made draft of her short story. She got her mood back.
“Marry, I'm home. Are you there?” mom's voice woke her up. She overslept in front of her laptop.
“Yea mom, up here.” she looked at her watch it's already late in the afternoon. She went down to the kitchen and got her food that mom's prepared.
“Hey, how're you feeling sweetie?” mom put her hand over marry's forehead.
“I'm okay mom, no more cold just a bit tired and hungry now. Can I eat.” Marry didn't like her mom treating her like a kid anymore.
Going to school was not fun anymore for Marry. No body talked to her but Joe. He's like a bodyguard to her. Now she couldn't avoid. Joe seemed nice.
