The In-laws

On cloudy friday morning didn't stop Lucy preparing the trip with her husband to visit her brother in-laws. Tomorrow would be a graduation day of her hubby's nephew. This is special since the family gathering's not quite often be held in this family.
Lucy and Mark got married six months ago. They were from different background and culture but so far they could manage everything very well. Lucy, the youngest in her family is from Asia. Tho her English's quite fluent, she got culture shock for few months. She's still afraid when she must ask somebody around her. Mark's patient enough tho sometimes he forgot the situation of Lucy here.
They would spend 3 days for this trip. Mark has already told Lucy little about his sister in-law, Christina, Katty and Dave who's gonna graduate and Andy, his brother.
"Hope Christina is in good mood when we get there." Mark said.
"Of course baby, don't worry. They are going to celebrate something big for their son, so i bet they are happy." Lucy's trying to think positive about her in-laws. She knows all marriages must have good and bad times and she always hoped that her marriage would be always in good.

"Hello, Andy. Good to see you again!" Lucy greeted her brother in-law. He has come just few weeks after Lucy arrived in USA.
"Hi Lucy, nice to meet you, here's Christina, my wife." Andy introduced his wife to Lucy.
"Wow, You look so good. You match each other." Christina said.
"Thanks, You look pretty and slim." Lucy said.
"You're even slimmer. Anyway, my family will also come soon, hope you don't mind being asked lots of question." Christina tried to tell little bit about her family.
Aunt Ken, Wina, Jen, and her sister July came along and asked Lucy many things.

The conversation smoothly flow on that afternoon. From A to Z could be answered by Lucy well. They amazed by the language since they had old neighbor from another country with broken English so far. So Lucy got extra point as their in-laws.

But things didn't go smoothly all the time, as in family, there must be arguing for sure. It wouldn't be so wrong. Many things, big or small could be the matters. Just like in a marriage. Lucy understood about that since she also had family and sometimes they argued about anything. However, there's something that her husband really concerned about his family.
